initiumInitium Labs
Today, Datum provides business analytics, AI consulting and websites. Alongside that work, we are developing Lumen, exploring public-record intelligence with Orbita and daily social questions with Census, and pursuing a longer-term direction in motion.

We study how people move, decide and work.
Then build tools to help.
The work today
01 / Client services
Our software and services company. Datum works with service businesses on their websites, business analytics and practical uses of AI.
Each engagement starts with a defined scope: a public-information Diagnostic, an analysis of suitable business records, a website, or time spent working through an AI task.

02 / Software in development
Datum’s software for developing and operating a business. Lumen brings tools, documents and agent-assisted work into one environment.
We use it internally as we build. A customer release, its packaging and its pricing are still to be decided.
Looking further ahead
A future line of work at Datum: using permissioned movement evidence to develop and validate synthetic datasets for robotics, rehabilitation and research.
Research and validation ahead. No dataset offer is available on this page. Our future motion-capture hardware venture. The direction is to develop devices that can capture useful movement evidence.
Future hardware work. No device availability or delivery date is announced.Independent ventures
Orbita / Public-record intelligence
Orbita brings public records and data feeds into a map-based research environment, connecting events across infrastructure, shipping, weather and markets.
An independent venture in active development. Its focus is making source evidence easier to explore and compare.
Census / Daily social survey
Census is built around a daily social question. After answering, participants can explore anonymous response distributions and compare with friends who agree to share.
An independent product in development. Responses describe the people who participate, not the entire population.
